D2x2B Bypass Optical Switch
The D2X2B optical switch is a dual 2x2 bypass mechanical optical switch specifically designed for high-reliability link protection and dynamic routing switching in optical networks. It features low insertion loss, high isolation, and millisecond-level switching speed. It is an ideal component for OADM,OXC,system monitoring and protection. With compact package, it can be easy to integrate into a high density optical communication system.
In application, If the system is sensitive to power consumption, a model with latching function should be good, which consumes power only at the moment of switching; if real-time status feedback is required, non-latching may be more convenient and suitable for control.
If the system transmits polarization-sensitive signals (such as coherent communication or sensing), it is imperative to customize the "Polarization Maintaining (PM)" version of D2X2B to ensure the extinction ratio specification.
